NEW ONLINE FORMAT!

Join other keen students for an online practice techniques workshop focussing on trouble shooting in your pieces, speedy scales and arpeggios, savvy sight reading, polished performances and more!

Each session is designed to give students a boost in their personal practice sessions, whether that be as part of essential preparation for exams and auditions or a desire to focus on a specific piece or challenging technique. We will focus on:

  • how to approach scales and arpeggios with a strong technical foundation, and how to start them in a relaxed and confident manner

  • how knowledge of key signatures and musical structure aid practice

  • different practice techniques and how to apply them specifically to pieces

  • a chance to perform pieces to the rest of the group

  • exploring how to be our own teacher when practising

  • what to look out for when sight reading

  • a spotlight on exam or audition preparation

  • practice tips and tricks for keeping the brain engaged and inspired
